Core Teacher Resources  is a great web site for core teachers who want to find practical teaching tools, interesting classroom lessons, and an awesome gallery of student handouts. Other highlights include Advice from Teachers, Assessment Strategies, and 40 Best-Practice Instructional Activities.

Discovery Education offers educators an extensive Lesson Plan Library as well as cool tools like a puzzlemaker, clip art gallery, and brain boosters.

Educational Press is an easy tool for creating printable flashcards, game boards, study sheets, and quizzes.

 Educator's Reference Desk contains "2,000+ lesson plans, 3,000+ links to online education information, and 200+ question archive responses." 

Eduweb provides award-winning art, history, science, and technology interactive activities and learning games. Click on the Portfolio tab to search by subject or grade.

 Ask Eric is "the world's largest digital library of education literature."  

 Go2web20 is an awesome directory of web 2.0 tools.  By clicking on "select tag" or placing your cursor over the boxes, you will see a huge collection of categories for available tools.

Hot Potatoes is a free software download that creates interactive multiple-choice, short-answer, jumbled-sentence, crossword, matching/ordering and gap-fill exercises.  Hot Potatoes is very user-friendly, and it will grade the student activities too!

IInternet 4 Classrooms provides helpful links to online test practice web sites for ACT, SAT, and many end-of-course exams. 

Learner.org from Annenberg Media provides some excellent FREE resources for teachers to use including instructional videos and interactives for teachers in the following areas:  Arts, Foreign Language, Literature and Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies and History.  Click "View Programs" to check out the free videos.

Quick topic is another free site where you can set up an online group discussion and/or message board on any topic you choose.

Seeing Reason tool is a free tool which lets students create online visual maps to "make thinking visible and promote collaboration as students work together to refine their understanding."

Teacher Tools will save you time when you need forms or letters for almost any occasion from discipline issues to bingo boards.

Teachers First is a free collection of lessons, units, and web resources. You can search by subject and grade to find some really unique and practical tools and sites for teaching that I haven't seen on the other teacher lessons websites.

Teaching Tolerance is a web site devoted to helping teachers promote an atmosphere of acceptance and understanding. It provides educators with free classroom materials and activities dedicated to improving relationships at your school.

Webquest.org is a great site to find and create webquests.
